Mother's Day

I teach six and seven year olds in my church.
It was my turn to teach on Mother's Day so I  made
them a little something that they could give their mom.

The flower is made from a mold using candy melts.
Super easy!  The cute tag that is from a song
was a freebie from My Computer is My Canvas.
They are the Mother's Day Leaf Tags.
I then imported them into my Silhouette
and had it do the cutting out!

The card is made from a brown paper sack.
HERE is where I found the tutorial and
printables  to make this card.

Un-frog-getable Mother's Day

Un-frog-getable Mother's Day card.  I used Treasure Box Designs
Cuckoo Critter Frog.  I think she is super cute!!
I did a print and cut on my Silhouette Cameo with the frog,
and the paper is from Lettering Delights and is in

I printed both the background paper, the frog and the sentiment
on photo paper so that the colors are more vivid.
The frog is attached with pop dots.
I used Michaels Recollections 5"x 6.5" cards and envelopes.
I haven't used these in the past, but bought some at a recent
sale and I have to say that I have quite enjoyed them.

Teacher Appreciation

This has been such a fun week.  We started it by decorating our teachers door
and then brought her a surprise gift each day of teacher appreciation week.
All of these projects are super simple my little guy
was able to help on every project which
makes it all the more special.
The cookies are from PPBN Designs.

#1 Teacher
This tin can was found at Hobby Lobby
The flowers are from the Cricut Cartridge George and Basic Shapes
and the #1 Teacher is from the Cricut Cartridge Makin' the Grade.
This adorable idea was found on The Happy Scraps Blog
with one slight adustment.  I measured the top of the dry erase marker
and then created a circle that size in my Silhouette program
and grouped it together with my George flower.
It was my little guys idea to color the flowers
the color of the marker and he had a BLAST doing it!

World's Greatest Teacher!
This project was made using a download from
The wrappers are printed out and wrapped
around nugget candy bars.  The ones with
the toffee are my favorite.

Teacher You're The Balm
The printable for the eos lip balm is from

For The Best Teacher Ever!
This is another download from
These are magnets made from bottlecaps.

I Touch the Future. I Teach.
This phrase was purchased from the Silhouette Store.
The cup was from the local Dollar Tree and
the sentiment from Crazy Little Projects.
Inside the cup it some Propel flavor packets.

That's how we roll!

This is a 6x6 card made for my son's birthday.
He is fifteen and his birthday requests are:
Panda Express Gift Card
Sushi for his birthday dinner
and Cadbury mini eggs
(good thing his birthday is around easter!)

I got these adorable graphics from Pretty Paper Graphics.
This file is called Silly Sushi.
I didn't have much time to create this card so I used the .png files.
I printed the files on photo paper, and then
I cut the graphics out with my Silhouette Cameo.
The paper in the background is from Lettering Delights and is
found in the Ninja Kicks paper pack.

My son and I made this for his Preschool teacher.
His teacher was AMAZING and today
was his graduation!

I used a Littlest Pet Shop Coloring page and
my Silhouette to create this SVG file.

Once Upon a Princess Embossing Kit.
The twine is from Maya Road it is called Blackberry.
I just found this twine at Hobby Lobby and LOVE it!

The Sentiment is from My Pink Stamper-More Punny-licious!

I have a TON of stuff I need to post.
Hopefully, I will get to it soon.
Life just seems to be getting crazier and crazier!

Halloween Goodie Bags!!!

I am so excited my youngest is in preschool!
That means that I can make goodie bags for his class!
Yippee!  My older two children are in eighth grade
and a sophomore in high school, let's just
say they have been out of the goodie bag stage for a while!
Here is what I came up with for Halloween!

I created all of these on my Silhouette using the print and cut feature.

I found the halloween toys at Michael's.
The paper is from S.E.I.

The border punch is from Martha Stewart.
The Happy Halloween sentiment is from the
My Pink Stamper Happiest Moments stamp set.

My little guy helped me assemble the goodie bags, he LOVED it, but it too
MUCH longer.  Oh well, that's half the fun right?
My favorite part was him trying every reason in the book
to let me give him one of the GOOP bottles now!
We had the exact count, no extras, but he was trying to convince me
that a certain child in his class didn't like goop and
when that didn't work that another child's mom didn't like
goop in her house. GIGGLE!
What a kid!

If you like these goodie bags HERE are other's you might enjoy!

Thanksss!

Here is another thing I LOVE about my Silhouette!
I downloaded this lizard as a coloring book page and was able to use my silhouette studio
(I do have the upgraded version, but I don't know if that matters in this case),
to break the image apart, color it and put it back together.
I then used the print and cut feature to cut it out!

It does take a little while to create the colored image,
but once I have it done it's saved on my computer for easy access next time I need it!
I will try to find the amazing you tube tutorial where I learned how to do this...
if I can find it again!
I found it!!!  The you tube tutorial was created by cricflix.
Look up her projects you will be amazed and inspired!!!

Tweety!!!

Downloaded this adorable Tweety bird print and cut from the Silhouette store.
All of there licensed images are 50% off right now.
I love how simple and quick it is to print and cut!!!

I felt the card needed a little something else when I was done.
Unfortunately I couldn't find a lightning bolt in any of the stores I frequent.
This is what I LOVE about silhouette...I found an image online, downloaded it to my silhouette,
sized it and then clicked on the rhinestone feature and TADA...I had a custom made rhinestone template!!!  I printed it out and then simply used my Imaginesce I Rock tool to adhere the rhinestones.

Spa Socks Cupcakes

These cute little cupcakes are actually spa socks rolled up and placed in a cupcake wrapper.
Place a cherry on top (red pom pom) and you are done.

Here is a tutorial on youtube that shows how they are made.

Another Father's Day Gift

I forgot about this until I saw a picture of it on my phone.  My kids and I made these for their dad and their grandpa this year for Father's Day.

We bought a case of IBC Rootbeer and poured out all the rootbeer and washed and dried the bottles.  I then spray painted the bottle holder black.

Then we filled each of the bottles with a favorite treat.  Ours had Skittles, Red and Black Licorice, Jelly Belly's, Peanut M&M's, Swedish Fish, and Cherry Sours.

The Happy Father's Day was purchased at the Silhouette Online store and cut out with my Cameo.  I then ran it through my Xyron Creatopia (quick way to get it sticky) and placed it on the box!
I saw this cute idea online but neglected to bookmark or Pinterest it to refer back to, as I wasn't sure if I was going to do it at the time or not.

Father's Day Cards

These cards were created on my Silhouette Cameo and are from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons graphics store.

The level was for my dad.  I used the Cuttlebug embossing folder diamond for the background.  I don't know about you but the sentiments are always the hardest for me.  That is why I was glad the stud finder came with the sentiment.  My husband got a kick out of it.  He opened the card and started beeping "Beep, Beep, Beep...oh, it's me...I'm a Stud!"  I used a Peachy Keen Everyday Character Face stamp for the stud finder window!  My black gel pen has walked away from my crafting station (I am blaming my children...whether they are guilty or not! :) Sounds fair right?!?) and I had to use a different  brand of gel pen...not a big fan.  Sounds like I need to make a trip to the closest craft store <insert evil laugh here>!

Mother's Day

This post is WAY belated...sorry.  I haven't had much time to post with dance recitals, Girl's Camp, yard work, my niece getting married, bridal shower's, my birthday as well as my sons, Mother's and Father's day and a son who at one time was participating in competitive basketball and football and rec. league baseball (they all overlapped this year).  Summer is Crazy!!!

Anywho!  This is the Mother's Day card and treat that I created to go along with the present that my family gave my mother.

The cute little cow is from Treasure Box Designs.  It is one of the Tiny Treasures collection, I want them ALL!  The card front is on a black card base, but it is hard to see with the black background.

Here is a Goodie Bag Topper that I used my Silhouette to make a print and cut of the same little cow, quick and easy!
