Mother's Day

I teach six and seven year olds in my church.
It was my turn to teach on Mother's Day so I  made
them a little something that they could give their mom.

The flower is made from a mold using candy melts.
Super easy!  The cute tag that is from a song
was a freebie from My Computer is My Canvas.
They are the Mother's Day Leaf Tags.
I then imported them into my Silhouette
and had it do the cutting out!

The card is made from a brown paper sack.
HERE is where I found the tutorial and
printables  to make this card.

Teacher Appreciation

This has been such a fun week.  We started it by decorating our teachers door
and then brought her a surprise gift each day of teacher appreciation week.
All of these projects are super simple my little guy
was able to help on every project which
makes it all the more special.
The cookies are from PPBN Designs.

#1 Teacher
This tin can was found at Hobby Lobby
The flowers are from the Cricut Cartridge George and Basic Shapes
and the #1 Teacher is from the Cricut Cartridge Makin' the Grade.
This adorable idea was found on The Happy Scraps Blog
with one slight adustment.  I measured the top of the dry erase marker
and then created a circle that size in my Silhouette program
and grouped it together with my George flower.
It was my little guys idea to color the flowers
the color of the marker and he had a BLAST doing it!

World's Greatest Teacher!
This project was made using a download from
The wrappers are printed out and wrapped
around nugget candy bars.  The ones with
the toffee are my favorite.

Teacher You're The Balm

Mickey and Minnie Mouse

Fun Mickey and Minnie Mouse birthday card!
I hate that it has the dated stamped on it, :)
yes I can be a slacker!

I used the Cricut Cartridge Mickey and Friends and
spiced it up with some glitter for Minnie and
Glossy Accents on the eyes.
These cuties are connected to the card with an
action wobble so that it wobbles!!!

I have entered this card in the Action Wobble Challenge.

St. Patricks Day

Each year for St. Patrick's day I cover my children's doors with
shamrocks and a sign that says You've been sham"rocked"!
Kind of a fun spin off of the heart attack idea.

This year these cute little jars of gold will be waiting for them at
at the end of their rainbow!!

Each rolo has a cute little pattern or saying on the bottom of it.
I found these cute printables in the etsy store

14 Days of Valentine's

I decided to do the 14 days of Valentine's for my family this year.
Here are the treats that they received.  I am missing one.
It was "You're a CHIP off the old block" and came with a can of Pringles.

I packaged each treat individually because it ended up saving money in the long run.
I just bought big bags and divided it up equally.
I got my saying ideas from Here, there is even a free printable!

I might be a peanut...

Another valentine.  Funny story behind this valentine, I had been doing the 14 days of valentine's for my kids this year.  Each day they woke up with some sort of treat and a "Punny" saying that went a long with it.  One day after my five year old woke up and I read the saying to him he came up with his own.  "I might be a peanut, but I would risk my life to save my friends!", and then he would laugh hysterically.  I never really got the pun, but oh well, he repeated it daily!
I decided that would be the perfect sentiment for his valentine this year and this SVG fit perfectly.

This SVG is from Little Scraps of Heaven.
The background is from an embossing folder called tiny hearts
from The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby).
The twine is made by Maya Road and is also found at Hobby Lobby
with a 40% off coupon it is an awesome deal.

New Stamp Storage

I am so EXCITED!!!  I am upgrading my stamp storage!
I went with my son, to our local Deseret Industries (thrift store),
and found this Gem, the best part is it was only $3.

This is an old cassette tape storage rack.
It was originally a deep brown veneer, but my husband spray
painted it black for me and I LOVE It!

Here is what it looks like with my stamp pads in it!!!

Here is a link to my previous stamp storage.  I was kinda sad
to see it go!  A lot of time and effort was put into this baby!
This is an awesome alternative if you can't
find an old cassette tape storage rack.
