and they look amazing together!!!

This little guy isn't as bright as the others, he was one of my first and I 

was having a little trouble getting my Imagine up and running again.

Does anyone else have a problem getting their Imagine to work after

leaving it sitting for a little while?

If so, I would love to hear how you fix that little problem!!!!

I kinda went a little crazy with my Cricut Buccanner Imagine Cartridge.

These projects are so easy and quick to put together I made a few!

I will post each of them separately over the next few days!

 

Shiver Me Timbers!

I used my Cricut Imagine and the Buccaneer Cartridge to make this quick card!

This card actually came together pretty quickly!

I used my Cricut Imagine (that I have not used FOREVER) and the Cartridge Buccaneer.

I created my pirate at 5.5 and separated the shapes so that I could attach them with pop dots and create some depth.  The face, hat and boots are all cut separately and attached.  The background (skulls) was cut at 6.0 and then trimmed to 5.75" square, I used the square stock photo on the imagine and then filled it with the skull pattern on the cartridge.
I added a little twine to the bottom of the card and a sentiment and attached the pirate with more pop dots.

(a little info...I hadn't used my Imagine for so long when I tried to print I was getting funky colors, I tried cleaning the print heads, but that didn't help.  I ended up taking out my printer cartridges and cleaning the bottoms with some rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip and it worked like a charm.  Just a heads up!!!)

You Light Up My Life!!!

I made another goodie bag!  I love these because they are so quick to make and easy to drop off to a friend or family member.

I decided to enter my first challenge and used the color scheme off of the I came, I saw, I created blog, which is Pumpkin Pie, Pacific Point and Real Red.  I didn't have Pacific Point and Real Red on hand so I used my Cricut Imagine to create those colors.  I thought the blue turned out okay, but I wasn't thrilled with the red.  I cut the Real Red out using the stock shapes 1:2 at 5.7 and Pacific Point using stock shapes 5:7 at 2.9.  I did have to cut both of them down a little bit more. The sun was cut from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock at 3.35" on my Gypsy so that I could hide the face and use my cute Peachy Keen Basic Paper Doll  1 3/8" Stamp. The sun is found on the Cricut Creat a Critter cartridge, and is part of the Simply Crafts Challenge.  The embossing on the blue was the Sizzix folder stars and swirls.  I used my Sakura gel pens to add color and dimension to the stamp! Tada (as my two year old would say :)).

This card was made with the Cricut Imagine Cartridge Yummy!  The base of the card is 12 x 6 folded in half and from Stampin' Up called Early Espresso.  The three square background layers are all from the Yummy Cartridge and are 5 3/4, 5 1/2, 5 1/4 inches.  The twine is from We R Memory Keepers and I used pop dots to give dimension to the cake, cake layers and the celebrate.
