Valentine Bee Goodie Bag

I cut this cute little bee from the Cricut Create a Critter 2 Cartridge. The cute little bee was cut at 3' and I used Michael's Recollection Paper Packs Cape Cod and Pink Buttons.  I glittered up her antennae to spice it up a bit.  The embossing was done using my Cuttlebug and The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby) Embossing folder Tiny Hearts.  The sentiment is from My Pink Stampers Buggie Punnies set.

Monsters!!!

I just couldn't resist!  My little three year old niece had a Monsters Inc. Birthday Party and I just had to make her a Disney Monsters Inc. card. :)

Sulley is from the Cricut Cartridge Best of Pixar and he was cut at 11.60",  yes this is a 12 x 12 card!  It has a monster on it, it needed to be BIG!!! :)  Sulley's fur is cut from Core'dination cardstock and is textured.  The other papers used were from Michael's Recollections cardstock (Cool Water & Cape Cod).  Sulley's belly is smooth cardstock and his spots have been flocked with Doodlebug's Lilac Flock.  His horns have Tinsel Glitter on them (I got this cheap at Michael's in their dollar bin 4/$1).  His eyes and nose are covered with Glossy Accents and his teeth have Stickles on them.  That is one thing I loved about this card, it has LOTS of texture!  The background paper is from a DCVW Glitter Pack I have had for ages!

I have entered this project in the My Craft Spot Monday Challenge - Wish Big

Pitter Patter Afghan

I decided to try my hand at another afghan.  Although I have made a few I have given them all away as gifts, so I decided I would make one for my three year old.

I found this fun pattern and a video on you tube.  Here it is.  It was a really simple afghan and started with a granny square that you just keep adding to.  I made mine a little bigger than the video because my little guy is getting big!  Trouble is now my 15 and 12 year old think that they need one too!!!  That is a much bigger project...we will see...I just finished making all of them tie blankets from fleece.  The only place I was able to find the yarn in the video was at Wal-Mart.  They didn't have the big balls of yarn so I had to buy many smaller ones.  I am very much a novice at crocheting so please don't look too close!!! :)

With Deepest Sympathy

I created this card using the Elegant Edges and the Indie Cricut cartridges.  I used my gypsy to format the sizes of the background (Elegant Edges) and to determine the size of the butterfly (Indie) to best fit the card.  The sentiment is printed off of my computer and punched out using EK Success Photo Labels punch!  The printed paper is from SEI.

Missionary!!!

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and when our young men turn 18 they can serve a mission if they choose!  I made this card for a young man in our ward (congregation) that has been called to serve in Africa!

This card is a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 card, a little different from my 6 x 6! ;)  I was inspired by Mary at Cardz TV.  The black background is cut at 5 1/4 x 4 and the pattern background is cut at 5 x 3.75.  The rest of this card was designed using my Gypsy (mostly so I could do it on the couch with my 3 year old, instead of in my craft room, where he is usually causing havoc :/).  The shaped backgrounds are from the Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge.  The black was cut at 4.65 x 3.20 and the pattern at 4.40 x 2.95 and are attached with pop dots.  The shirt and tie are from the Simply Charmed Cricut Cartridge.  The collar   and tie are attached using pop dots.  I love that I can save this on my Gypsy to use for future missionaries!
