Halloween Goodie Bags!!!

I am so excited my youngest is in preschool!
That means that I can make goodie bags for his class!
Yippee!  My older two children are in eighth grade
and a sophomore in high school, let's just
say they have been out of the goodie bag stage for a while!
Here is what I came up with for Halloween!

I created all of these on my Silhouette using the print and cut feature.

I found the halloween toys at Michael's.
The paper is from S.E.I.

The border punch is from Martha Stewart.
The Happy Halloween sentiment is from the
My Pink Stamper Happiest Moments stamp set.

My little guy helped me assemble the goodie bags, he LOVED it, but it too
MUCH longer.  Oh well, that's half the fun right?
My favorite part was him trying every reason in the book
to let me give him one of the GOOP bottles now!
We had the exact count, no extras, but he was trying to convince me
that a certain child in his class didn't like goop and
when that didn't work that another child's mom didn't like
goop in her house. GIGGLE!
What a kid!

If you like these goodie bags HERE are other's you might enjoy!

Mother's Day

This post is WAY belated...sorry.  I haven't had much time to post with dance recitals, Girl's Camp, yard work, my niece getting married, bridal shower's, my birthday as well as my sons, Mother's and Father's day and a son who at one time was participating in competitive basketball and football and rec. league baseball (they all overlapped this year).  Summer is Crazy!!!

Anywho!  This is the Mother's Day card and treat that I created to go along with the present that my family gave my mother.

The cute little cow is from Treasure Box Designs.  It is one of the Tiny Treasures collection, I want them ALL!  The card front is on a black card base, but it is hard to see with the black background.

Here is a Goodie Bag Topper that I used my Silhouette to make a print and cut of the same little cow, quick and easy!

Valentine Bee Goodie Bag

I cut this cute little bee from the Cricut Create a Critter 2 Cartridge. The cute little bee was cut at 3' and I used Michael's Recollection Paper Packs Cape Cod and Pink Buttons.  I glittered up her antennae to spice it up a bit.  The embossing was done using my Cuttlebug and The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby) Embossing folder Tiny Hearts.  The sentiment is from My Pink Stampers Buggie Punnies set.

Halloween Treat Bags

Wow!!!  It has been forever!  Life suddenly got VERY busy!  I thought with two of my three children in school things would slow down...not so!  I hope winter will bring a slower pace (yeah right!).  My husband and I also took a trip back east to Rhode Island, just the two of us, it was soooo fun.  It was business for him, but I got to play!!!

It felt so good to get back to crafting!  I made some Halloween treat bags to take around to a few ladies that I go to church with, and here they are!

I tried to throw these together quick late last night, but I must be out of practice because it was not quick!!!  But I enjoyed every minute!  The patterned paper is from DCWV Fall Glitter stack and the rest of the paper is scraps from my stash.  The cute candy corn is from Paper Piecings by Nikki and was cut on my Silhouette at 3".  I tried to make the cute faces like Nikki's but it was a NO go!  I finally ended up using my Peachy Keen Stamps - The Cornies 1 1/8".  I also used My Pink Stampers Happiest Moments stamp set for the "Happy Halloween" sentiment.

Here they all are together!!!  I used Candy Corn, Indian Corn and
Caramel Apple Taffy!!!  Happy Halloween!!

A Huge Thanks!!

These were created for my three year olds birthday as a thanks for all the children that came.  As you can tell he is a BIG Disney Cars fan.  I got the idea from My Pink Stamper, and actually really love to make these cute goodie bags.
The bags themselves are 4x6.  I bought mine at Michael's using a 40% off coupon.  The white base paper is cut at 4 1/2" x 6".  The black base was created using the Cricut Cartridge Disney Cars.  I used my Gypsy to get it the exact size I wanted, which was 2.75" x 4".  I also used this same cut HERE.
I found the Lightning McQueen image on the Disney Clips website.  I sized and copied it using my Silhouette software and then used the print and cut feature (LOVE this feature).  The final touch was the sentiment which is from My Pink Stamper's Even More Punni-licious set and was stamped using Stampin' Ups Whisper White ink.
Here they all are ready to go!!!

You Light Up My Life!!!

I made another goodie bag!  I love these because they are so quick to make and easy to drop off to a friend or family member.
I decided to enter my first challenge and used the color scheme off of the I came, I saw, I created blog, which is Pumpkin Pie, Pacific Point and Real Red.  I didn't have Pacific Point and Real Red on hand so I used my Cricut Imagine to create those colors.  I thought the blue turned out okay, but I wasn't thrilled with the red.  I cut the Real Red out using the stock shapes 1:2 at 5.7 and Pacific Point using stock shapes 5:7 at 2.9.  I did have to cut both of them down a little bit more. The sun was cut from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock at 3.35" on my Gypsy so that I could hide the face and use my cute Peachy Keen Basic Paper Doll  1 3/8" Stamp. The sun is found on the Cricut Creat a Critter cartridge, and is part of the Simply Crafts Challenge.  The embossing on the blue was the Sizzix folder stars and swirls.  I used my Sakura gel pens to add color and dimension to the stamp! Tada (as my two year old would say :)).

Goodie Bags!!!

Wanted to stop  by a few friends houses and let them know that I am thinking of them, so I made Goody Bags!!!
I got this cute idea from My Pink Stamper.  I bought my clear bags at Michael's, I believe they are 4 x 6, and you get 50 for $3 or $4, plus don't forget to use your 40% off coupon. :)

I downloaded the cute bugs from kristidailey.com, they are the Bugs Color Graphics, and cut them out with the print and cut feature on my Silhouette.
Last but not least I cut a piece of paper at 41/2 x 6, folded it in half, and stapled it to the top of my bag.  Then I cut another piece of paper at 4 1/4 x 2 3/4 ran it through my Cuttlebug using my Bloom Dot embossing folder, and glued it to the top of my base paper.  I then added my graphics with Pop dots and added a saying as well!

Birthday Party Favors

I got this idea from My Pink Stamper.  I made these cute goodie bags for my daughters birthday, so she could send them home with the family.  I got the adorable graphics from Scrappin Doodles and then used the print and cut feature on my silhouette.

I LOVE the print and cut feature on the Silhouette!!!  It really makes throwing together goodie bags, and other projects, so much quicker!!!  Don't get me wrong I love the SVG type of cuts too, but they do tend to take a little more time!!!

Silhouette SD

My Pink Stamper - Even More Punny-licious
